BROTHERHOOD DOESN'T ALWAYS ROCK.

After a young boy passes away, his older brother visits the lake they used to frequent together and begins to hear his voice speaking to him from beyond the grave... In the form of a rock. What follows is a sad yet silly family dispute traveling backwards through the stages of grief.

Rocky is Dead premiered as an official selection as well as a finalist for the award categories of Best Oregon Film and Best Experimental Film on November 6th 2021 at the fall 2021 Oregon Short Film Festival before screening again in the College Student Showcase at McMinnville Short Film Festival 2022.

A darkly comedic drama written, directed, and edited by Drew Crosby with cinematography by Draven Ford, original music by Jay Eckart, and poster by Skylar Smith. Starring Nolen Sternkopf and the voice of Cooper Elkins.
